Smith took a calculated risk by withdrawing a substantial portion of his deposit, leaving only the amount necessary to participate in the championship. This decision has increased his exposure to potential losses but has also provided him with an opportunity to generate higher gains.

Smith's strategy paid off as he managed to increase his gains significantly, allowing him to surpass Josue Nauzaya Ngingasa from South Africa and secure the second spot in the standings.

2. You need to deposit the minimum amount required to participate — $5,000.
